What works

Pull-out

A spray head on a hose: rinses the whole sink and fills pots on the bench.

Boiling and chilled

Boiling, chilled and sometimes sparkling filtered water from one tap. A unit sits under the sink: it needs a power point there and room beside the waste.

Pot filler

A swing-arm tap on the wall over the cooktop. The water point goes in the wall at rough-in.

Before you buy: Check the tap hole size and position against the sink and benchtop before the stone is cut. Tapware must carry a WELS rating to be sold in Australia.
